Thomas Masterson - Owner/President
Tom brings over 30 years of experience in all phases of the electrical industry and will direct all company operations. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Louisville and an Associates Degree in Architecture from the University of Kentucky. Tom holds electrical contractor licenses in Lexington, Louisville, Ohio, West Virginia and the State of Kentucky, and has passed his electrical inspector’s exam. Tom has sat on the Lexington-Fayette Examining Board of Electricians and the Lexington- Fayette County Appeals Board. He has been Associated General Contractors “Man of the Year”, served as President of the Construction Specifications Institute, served on the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Electrical Contractors Association and served on the National Ad Hoc Committee to rewrite NECA’s Manual of Labor Units. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for Associated Builders and Contractors Education Foundation and serving as the Vice Chairman on the BCTCS Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Hispanic/Latino Business of Louisville. On March 6, 2009 Tom received an award for SBA Kentucky Small Business Person of the Year 2009 and lead T.E.M. in winning The Pacesetter Business Recognition Program which he will be recognized for in May 2009.

Michael O’Rourke - Louisville Project Manager
Mickey has twenty-three years experience in the electrical field. As the Field Superintendent, he is in charge of all field personnel and the successful completion of all Louisville based projects. Mickey also handles materials management, tools, and scheduling.

Gary Masterson - Vice President
After more than thirty-five years experience in construction, Gary joined TEM to spearhead our safety department. As our safety director he reviews, updates and establishes TEM safety policy to ensure the safest workplace possible. He also inspects projects and helps foremen plan their work safely. He works closely with our customers to make each job safe and also ensure compliance with all local and federal safety rules and regulations. He is in charge of all safety training and also assists our Quality Control Manager. Gary also serves as the Vice President of Operations for KDV.

David Wood - Safety Manager

Pat Abrams - Lead Estimator
Pat has twenty-four years in the electrical field. Twenty years in estimating. He is our senior estimator who oversees all bid projects to include our design/build team. He manages all of our estimating staff and was promoted to Vice President of Engineering Services in Summer 2009.

David Decker - Estimator/Project Manager
Dave is a licensed Master Electrician with 25 years of experience in the trade. He owned his own electrical contracting business and later joined our organization. He is a skilled electrician and an equally skilled estimator, and has a strong background in controls.
Greg Schmidt - Controller
Greg brings over 15 years accounting and finance experience in the construction industry. He has worked in real estate development, subcontracting, and building. He has recently finished his MBA at Bellarmine University.

Rick Davis - Lexington Project Manager
Rick manages the Lexington Office, and has 16 years experience in the Electrical industry. He holds a Master Electrician's license and is certified in design & installation of CAT 5 & Fiber Optic cabling.

Sonya Crumbie - Lexington Project Assistant
Sonya has over 8 years experience in the electrical industry. She has vast knowledge in project and contract administration. She plays an integral support role in the company and is very knowledgeable about all of our current projects in Lexington.
Dan Tucker - Purchasing Manager/Safety
Dan currently serves as our purchasing and warehouse manager. He has a background in management and works closely with our valued suppliers. He also works diligently to ensure timely materials management to all of our projects. Dan has recently adopted the Safety Administrator role for TEM.

David Cheak - Senior Accountant
David has more than twenty-five years of accounting experience. As the senior accountant, he oversees all of the accounting functions for our organization. He also plays a key role in project administration and works closely with all of our customers to ensure compliance with all project specific parameters including those relating to government offices. In addition to his financial and project experience, he even has real world field experience as an electrician. His experience and support make him a valuable member of our team.
Marissa Hendren - Human Resources Manager
Marissa handles employee benefits, employee files, recruiting and retention for our company. She has a degree in Business Administration and has over 3 years of experience with our company. She also provides support to our accounting department.
Amy Finn - Staff Accountant
Amy had 9 years of electrical accounting experience and a degree in Business Management. She handles the Accounts Payable and Receivables along with the Time and Material Billing for T.E.M. Amy also assists the Controller and Sr. Accountant with our Joint Venture accounts.
Sharon Fletcher - Payroll Administrator
As the company Payroll Administrator, Sharon is responsible for handling all of the payroll records. She brings over 30 years of experience in construction accounting to our team. Sharon also works closely with the other accounting members to ensure accuracy in the accounting procedures.
Wendy Noe - Administrative Assistant
Wendy brings 4 years of office experience in the construction industry. She handles daily operations if the front office and assists the project managers with clerical needs for contract organization. She has certifications in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
Tim Osborne - Estimator
Tim assists the lead estimator in all project proposals. He brings 7 years of estimating experience to the T.E.M. team along with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering and several NECA certifications.
Dwayne Harris - Lexington Field Superintendent
Dwayne is a Master Electrician with 11 years of electrical experience. He oversees the job and field operations in Lexington. He works closely with the Lexington Project Manager to ensure all jobs are completed in a timely and organized fashion.
Sandra Strothman - Louisville Project Assistant
Sandy joined our team in August 2009 as our Louisville Project Assistant. Along with an Executive Assistant Degree, she brings over 5 years of construction administration experience to T.E.M. Sandy works closely with Project Managers to ensure accuracy of project documentation such as, certified payroll, safety, contracts, subcontracts, submittals and transmittals.
Steven Robinson - Project Manager
Steve joined TEM Group in July of 2009 and is actively working as a Project Manager supporting four (4) KDV, Inc. projects located in Lexington, Kentucky, sponsored by the Veterans Administration and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). He has 28 years of experience working with the Corps and retired as a Colonel in 2005. Steve has held multiple positions in the area of construction, facilities and project management. He has also been involved in Research and Development (R&D) programs associated in the both the defense and medical industries. In addition, Steve has experience in space utilization, computer integration programs, business development, and vulnerability assessment associated with ports and airfields. Steve has been involved in Department of Defense (DoD) R&D, contracting and consulting programs with the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines.
Timothy Harshfield - Lead Estimator
Tim came on board in March 2009 as our Lead Estimator and Project Manager for KDV. He brings over 9 years of construction experience to our company along with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management.
Dave Gross - Operations Manager
Dave holds the position as Operations Manager for TEM Group, Inc. He has 27 years of experience in Commercial Electrical Construction and Project Management in the electrical industry. He is accountable for overall management of TEM Group in such a way as to insure quality performance, professional integrity and cost effectiveness consistent with formulated construction contracts, projects, corporate plans, goals, and objectives. He has worked on many Government projects, they include the US Army (Ft. Knox Ky., Ft. Campbell, Ky., Ft. Leonardwood MO, Letterkenny Army Depot, PA), US Navy,(Guantanamo Bay Cuba), US Air Force, (Eglin AF Base FL.), and US Army Corp of Engineers, (Holston Army Ammunition Plant TN, McAlpine Lock Replacement Ky.)
Robert Winstead - Estimator
Bob joined our estimating team in June 2009. In addition to a degree in Architectural & Electrical Design and extensive training in McCormick Estimating Software, he brings 10 years of electrical design and 12 years of electrical estimating experience to our company. He holds certifications in OSHA 10 hour, Passport Safety, CPR and First Aid. He is also experienced with Accu-Bid Estimating Software and AutoCAD.
Debbie Swain - Office Assistant/Support
Debbie joined our team in September 2009. She brings two years of experience with an electrical contractor and over twenty years of experience as an office manager/administrator in manufacturing. She is currently handling all front office administrative and clerical responsibilities for the Louisville office and offers support to Operations as needed.
